Internship?

Kyou-chan and I were talking a few days ago and she brought up something I think could be good. <3

Im really the only one who mixes for Shinju Project and I know there are other mixers here tho. She said maybe we could do an internship thing where we share our mixing knowledge and for those who DON'T know how to mix but want to learn, We could teach them. If you all agree, We will do that. ^^ I will mostly be the one teaching but for those who have some tricks up their sleeves, feel free to share! Basically what this is, is if you have any questions on how to use something, Just ask and I (or anyone else who knows :3) will tell you how to use it. This is mostly just to help people improve in mixing altogether.

Like the program you use to mix, how to mix and the audio and PV stuff : )

What I use to audio mix is a free program called "Audacity". You can download it here:

Audacity only accepts .mp3 and .wav files so if you have something like .wma files, You will have to convert it to mp3/wav. You can use this website for that

What I use to PV mix is "Windows Movie Maker". XD I also use "Sony Vegas" but that cost money and quite frankly, its a bit harder to use, it makes the video HUGE so it takes up a lot of space on your computer but it does save the video with better quality than WMM Does :/. If you have a HQ/HD PV on your computer already, it wont effect the video that badly but it wont save on Youtube as HQ/HD. I get my PVs from various sites so don't even ask me cuz I will go on FOREVER. XD I hope this helps a little bit. ^^

Ahh! Can you guys help me learn how to level out volume for each audio piece when mixing? I always make the instrumental either to quiet or the lines are way to loud Dx

Well, Sometimes it depends on the song, or your headphones sadly. D: Usually what I do, is I will make it seem like its a real song. Basically, you think back to the song and go "Okay, So, This part is somewhat quiet/loud/etc" and you try to level it out and make it sound the same. I understand that that can be sometimes hard to do but it gets easier. I cant really help THAT much with this question because I sorta have to hear an example of your mixing to tell you what is wrong. XD

I know coz I've been using it for almost 3 years now and it expired 6 month ago on 2007...LOL
